I’m Carrie, and this is my son Gerry—the heart and inspiration behind it all.
I named the business after him, making Gerry Bear & Co a true labour of love and a tribute to the beginning of my motherhood journey.
I began working in the early childhood sector in 2018 at just 15 years old as a trainee. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience and developed a deep passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
What started as a way for me to stay home and spend more time with my son soon grew into something much more meaningful. I wanted to create something I truly believed in—something centred around the idea of "play with purpose".
Through my experience working alongside children, I’ve come to love watching them learn, grow, and discover the world through play. That passion, along with my son, inspired Gerry Bear & Co.
Our mission is simple: to encourage play that supports curiosity, creativity, and development. Every product we choose is thoughtfully selected to help little ones learn, explore, and thrive.
